Balloons land on Romford Golf Club

On Sunday 9th June two hot air balloons had to make an unexpected landing on the fairways of ROMFORD Golf Club. The club were hosting the prestigious ESSEX Amateur Championship that day and the golfers were due to tee off at 8.10 when the balloons appeared just 40 minutes earlier. They were part of a 46 balloon armada that had set of from Battersea Park at 5.15am as part of the Lord Mayors balloon regatta, and had clearly drifted a little further north than expected.
