<p> &lt;p&gt; &amp;lt;p&amp;gt; The torch party in Hackney Central on 21 July, was celebrated with a village fete in front of the Town Hall singers, dancers and comedians performed in the Town Hall Square.&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt; &amp;lt;br /&amp;gt; Thousands of Hackney residents enjoyed the entertainment from 2pm to until 8PM with entertainers from the Hackney Empire and Hackney Picturehouse, before and after the torch visited the Town Hall, where it was borne by Takashi Bailey&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt; &amp;lt;br /&amp;gt; The Anna Fiorentini Stage School pupils, sang and danced to a medley of songs and really entertained the crowds with their vibrant performance&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt; &amp;lt;br /&amp;gt; Event host Kat B kept things rolling along nicely with some great impromptu moments and a fair amount of ad libs that included acrazy dance routine, and some fart gags to the great delight of the younger members of the crowd&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt; &amp;lt;br /&amp;gt; as the moment for the torch&amp;amp;#39;s arrival got closer the crowd were treated to some amazing performances from Hackney&amp;amp;#39;s young and talented residents, proving yet again the Borough isn&amp;amp;#39;t anything like the bad picture painted of it by the rest of the world&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;</p>
