Murray Fortag

With the present season now over three months old journeyman footballer Murray Fortag is signed on for his eighteenth club Barking Borough FC. Turned out for Redbridge Youth at under 16's level. Murray started playing adult football at around twenty years of age. However, he seems to have always been unable to establish himself as a regular at hardly any of his clubs. Either on the bench or asked to report to the clubs matches and then not used at all. At most making the odd appearance from the bench.
For the record Murray has signed on at and.eighteen clubs and they are listed here (sunday ones included):

Loughton FC, Ilford FC, Ongar Town, Brimsdown Rovers, Woodford Town, Walthamstow Pennant (nowadays known as Waltham Forest FC),
Santos (Sunday League side), East Ham Utd (managed to last two seasons here, a long time for him),Wanstead FC,Highlands Athletic (Sunday League side),
Cockfosters FC,Barkingside FC Reserves,Wadham Lodge FC,

Eton Manor Reserves, Vernon (Sunday League side), Little Heath (Sunday League side),Manor House (Sunday League side) and Barking Borough (present club according to Murray himself).

The two photos attached are as follows:
Murray as part of Ilford FC squad photo taken, April 18th 1994. He is on the far right of the front row.
The second photo was Murray watching a friendly at London Lions FC (where he unsuccessfully tried to get signed on) about to watch a friendly match. Photo taken 28th July 2012.

When it was mentioned to Murray about a South Yorkshire club called Thorne Colliery FC (Central Midlands League) based in Doncaster whom one of his footballing colleges followed when living in South Yorkshire,
Murray was even prepared to make the 360 mile plus round trip in the hope of getting a game as it was also mentioned that this club does sometimes struggle for players.
Even though he seems to see little on field action, his enthusiasm for the game remains undiminished.
