Barking's waste / flytipping crisis deepens

The access road behind shops on Station Parade in the heart of Barking town centre is now looking like what one often unfortunately sees in third world slums on TV. The bins running the full length of the Parade have clearly not been emptied in weeks and that coupled with the smell and the assortment of rodents and birds are making it a wildlife paradise. It's shocking to think that this is possibly one of the first things visitors may see disembarking from Barking railway station opposite.
