Redbridge Town Hall’s Main Hall was host to the Mayor’s Voluntary Day today (Thursday 13th December 2012). The day, hosted by Mayor of Redbridge Cllr Muhammed Javed, Redbridge CVS and the Volunteer Centre, saw a number of organisations and companies operating in the local area offer opportunities for the public to apply to volunteer schemes in order to gain experience. The pictures above show the early stages, shortly after the doors opened. The event was very well attended throughout the day.
