The girl with Father Christmas is Mia Lily Nair, age 5. I have her mother's permission to send the photograph to you for possible publication.

The Market was a great success with a regular stream of visitors from all over the Borough throughout the day. Stalls included Christmas gifts, homemade preserves and cakes, jewellery, Christmas Cards and Tombola. Some 75 nativity sets were on display in the church - the largest number since this exhibition was first held in 1999 in conjunction with the Christmas event.

The arrival of Father Christmas heralded the approach of the festive season which will continue at St. Peter's with 'Christmas Cheer', a concert in church of Saturday 15th December, a service of Nine Lessons and Carols on Sunday 23rd December, Christingle and Crib Service and Midnight Communion on Monday 24th December.
